Mass Save Rebates Incentives 2024

In 2024 Mass Save is offering rebates, incentives, and 0% financing on qualifying equipment. Depending on the equipment and other criteria you could qualify for a rebate of $16,000 on an air source heat pump install or even $25,000 for a ground source heat pump install.

Heat Loan 0% financing Phase Out

There is some urgency for those who wish to take advantage of the 0% financing Heat Loan on installs of fossil fuel equipment such as natural gas, propane (LP) and oil furnaces, boilers and water heaters. The Heat Loan program(0% financing) for fossil fuel equipment is being phased out April 30, 2024. If you intend to install fossil fuel equipment and take part in the Heat Loan program get in touch with Absolute Precision ASAP so we can help get the ball rolling. Heat Loan is available throughout 2024 for Heat Pump installs.

Fossil Fuel Equipment Rebates

Fossil fuel equipment must be installed by August 31, 2024 and the rebate application submitted/postmarked no later than September 30, 2024 to be eligible.

Fossil fuel equipment eligible for rebates include boilers, furnaces, and water heaters. Rebates on such equipment can be as high as $7,300 on a system that combines heat and domestic hot water.

Water Heater Rebates

Water heaters which are replacing fossil fuel equipment with heat pump systems are eligible for rebates of either $750 per unit in the case of heat pump water heaters. Or $1,500 per system in the case of split-system heat pump water heaters. These rebates are available throughout 2024.

To reiterate fossil fuel hot water heating equipment must be installed by August 31, 2024 and the rebate application submitted/postmarked no later than September 30, 2024 to be eligible. Rebates on, for example, an on demand tankless water heater fueled by either natural gas or propane can be as high as $450.

Additional Incentives

Eligible homeowners and renters can receive a no-cost insulation upgrade and increased rebates on efficient heating equipment. Learn more at Mass Save.
